      Brett Williams

Brett brings over 25 years of marketing and sales strategy experience to Sunlight Media’s paid advertising clients. A marketing graduate of Curtin University of Technology, he has spent his career helping small and mid-sized businesses turn advertising spend into measurable sales growth — not impressions. For Sunlight Media clients, Brett manages Google Ads campaigns end to end — keyword and audience research, ad copy testing, landing page alignment, and the conversion tracking that makes performance visible. His focus is cost per acquisition and return on ad spend: the numbers that tell you whether a campaign is actually working.

      Frequently Asked Questions

What does a PPC agency in Los Angeles do?

A PPC agency in Los Angeles manages your paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Bing Ads, and social media channels. Services include keyword research, ad creation, campaign optimization, and performance tracking to drive targeted traffic and boost conversions.

How much should I budget for PPC advertising in Los Angeles?

Ad spend varies based on industry, competition, and goals. We work with businesses of all sizes and offer flexible pricing. Our team helps you allocate budget effectively to get the highest return on investment, whether you're spending $1,000 or $50,000 per month.

What’s the difference between Google Ads and Bing Ads?

Google Ads has a larger reach, but Bing Ads can offer lower cost-per-click and access to a different audience. We often run campaigns on both to expand reach and drive additional traffic at competitive rates.

How do you choose the right keywords for my business?

We conduct in-depth keyword research using industry tools and analytics. Our PPC specialists select high-intent keywords that match what your target audience is searching for and refine them based on real-time performance.

How long does it take to see results from PPC campaigns?

PPC can deliver immediate traffic, but optimal results typically take 30 to 90 days as we test, adjust, and optimize ad campaigns for conversions and efficiency.

Do you offer landing page design as part of your PPC services?

Yes. We design and optimize landing pages to match your ads, improve user experience, and increase conversion rates. Effective landing pages are critical to PPC success.

Can you manage both search engine marketing and social media marketing?

Absolutely. We offer comprehensive digital marketing services that include paid search advertising, social media marketing, and email marketing campaigns. Our integrated approach improves overall campaign effectiveness.

Why should I choose a Los Angeles PPC agency instead of a national provider?

Local agencies like Sunlight Media understand the Los Angeles market, regional search behavior, and industry competition. We offer personalized service, faster communication, and location-specific strategies that national firms often overlook.

Why Choose Sunlight Media as Your Los Angeles PPC Agency

We’re a Google Premier Partner — a status held by roughly the top 3% of participating agencies, requiring sustained ad spend, certified specialists, and a minimum optimization score across every account we manage. It’s verifiable, and it’s re-earned annually.

We build the landing pages, not just the ads. Most PPC agencies hand you a campaign and hope your existing site converts. We’re a Los Angeles web design agency that runs paid media, so the ad and the page it points to are built together. That matters because a strong campaign pointed at a slow, unfocused landing page leaks budget on every click — and fixing that usually requires a developer the average PPC shop doesn’t have.

We’re actually in Los Angeles. Our offices are in Downtown LA and Santa Monica, not a national call center. That means same-timezone communication, in-person meetings when they’re useful, and campaign strategy informed by how this market actually behaves — which neighborhoods convert, which seasonal patterns matter, and how much competitors are really bidding here.

Flat, transparent pricing. You know what management costs before we start, and your reporting shows exactly where ad spend went — clicks, cost per acquisition, and return on ad spend, not a vanity dashboard. No percentage-of-spend arrangement that quietly rewards us for spending more of your money.

What to Look for in Any PPC Agency

Ask these of every agency you’re considering — including us. The answers separate operators from resellers.

How do they research keywords? Strong campaigns start with intent, not volume. The right question isn’t “what gets searched most” but “what gets searched by someone ready to buy.” Ask to see how they’d build your negative keyword list — that’s where wasted spend actually gets stopped.

Who writes the ad copy, and how often is it tested? Ad copy determines both click-through rate and Quality Score, which directly affects what you pay per click. An agency that writes ads once and leaves them running is costing you money in a way that won’t show up on a summary report.

What happens after the click? Landing page speed, message match, and form design decide whether traffic becomes leads. If an agency has no answer for this, they’re optimizing half the funnel.

What do they actually report? Impressions and clicks are easy to make look good. Cost per lead, cost per acquisition, and return on ad spend are the numbers that tell you whether the campaign is working. Insist on the second set.

Can you leave? Ask who owns the Google Ads account. If the agency owns it, you lose your entire campaign history when you switch — a common lock-in tactic worth knowing about before you sign.

        Los Angeles Neighborhoods We Serve

Our offices sit in Downtown Los Angeles and Santa Monica, and we run campaigns for businesses across the LA metro. Ad costs and buyer behavior vary sharply between them, and the campaign structure should reflect that.

Downtown LA and the Arts District — dense B2B and professional services competition, where the winning approach is usually tight geographic radius targeting and dayparting around business hours rather than broad citywide reach.

Santa Monica and the Westside — high-value consumer and tech audiences with correspondingly high cost-per-click. Precision matters more than volume here; broad campaigns burn budget fast in these zip codes.

Beverly Hills, Brentwood, and Bel Air — premium consumer intent, where ad copy and landing pages have to match the expectations of buyers researching considered purchases rather than impulse ones.

Pacific Palisades, Manhattan Beach, and the South Bay — affluent residential markets where local service businesses compete on proximity and reviews as much as on bid.

Century City and the San Fernando Valley — professional services, entertainment, and a wide mix of small business advertisers, each with very different conversion economics.

Search behavior differs meaningfully across these areas. “PPC management Santa Monica” and “paid search agency Beverly Hills” surface different competitors, different cost-per-click, and different buyer expectations — so we build campaigns around the modifiers your customers actually use, not a single citywide template.

        PPC Services Across California

While Los Angeles is our home market, we manage campaigns for businesses throughout California — including Orange County, San Diego, the Inland Empire, and the Bay Area.

Statewide campaigns bring a different set of problems than local ones: cost-per-click varies widely between markets, the same keyword can carry very different competition in San Francisco versus Riverside, and budget allocated evenly across regions almost always underperforms. We structure multi-region campaigns so spend follows the markets that actually convert for your business, rather than splitting it geographically and hoping.

Services Offered by Our PPC Agency in Los Angeles

At Sunlight Media, we offer a full range of PPC services designed to help businesses in Los Angeles drive targeted traffic, increase conversions, and grow revenue. Our team of digital marketing experts builds custom strategies that align with your goals, ensuring that every campaign delivers measurable results.

Google Ads Campaigns: Drive Targeted Traffic

Our Google Ads specialists create powerful search, display, and remarketing campaigns to connect your business with ready-to-buy customers. Through in-depth keyword research, compelling ad copy, and precise audience targeting, we help you drive qualified traffic and maximize your return on ad spend.

Bing Ads and Paid Media Solutions

While Google dominates the market, Bing Ads can offer significant opportunities to reach untapped audiences. We manage Bing Ads campaigns alongside other paid media solutions, helping you diversify your reach and capture additional high-intent traffic across multiple platforms.

Social Media Marketing and Meta Ads Integration

Social media advertising is a key component of a comprehensive PPC strategy. Our team integrates Meta Ads on platforms like Facebook and Instagram to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads. By targeting specific demographics and interests, we help businesses connect with their ideal customers where they spend their time online.

Shopping Campaigns and Lead Generation Services

For e-commerce businesses, we design optimized shopping campaigns that highlight your products to consumers actively searching for what you offer. In addition, our lead generation services are structured to capture high-quality leads through well-crafted landing pages, form integrations, and targeted ad placements, driving steady business growth.

Landing Page Optimization for Higher Conversions

A successful PPC campaign doesn’t end with a click. We ensure that the landing pages connected to your ads are optimized for performance, speed, and user experience. By improving layout, messaging, and call-to-action strategies, we help increase conversion rates and maximize the effectiveness of your paid search advertising efforts.

How We Manage Performance Max Campaigns

Performance Max is Google’s automated campaign type, serving ads across Search, Display, YouTube, Discover, Gmail, and Maps from a single campaign. It can be highly effective — and it can quietly waste a large budget, because it gives you less direct control and less granular reporting than traditional Search campaigns.

Running it well means managing what you can still control:

Asset groups built properly. Performance Max needs a full set of creative to work with — square (1:1), landscape (1.91:1), and portrait (4:5) images, multiple headlines and descriptions, logos, and video. If you don’t supply video, Google auto-generates one, and the result is usually worse than anything you’d approve. We build complete asset groups per product or service line rather than dumping everything into one.

Audience signals that guide the algorithm. Audience signals don’t restrict targeting — they tell the system where to start looking. Feeding it your actual customer lists and high-value converter data gets it to productive audiences faster than leaving it to explore on its own.

Brand exclusions. Left unchecked, Performance Max will happily spend your budget re-buying traffic that would have found you anyway through organic brand searches. That inflates reported conversions while adding no new customers. We apply brand exclusions so the campaign is measured on incremental business, not recycled demand.

Conversion tracking that reflects real value. Performance Max optimizes toward whatever you tell it to optimize toward. If that’s raw form fills, it will find you cheap, low-quality form fills. We configure conversion values so it optimizes for revenue and qualified leads rather than volume.

Knowing when not to use it. Performance Max needs conversion data to learn from. For accounts with low conversion volume or a very narrow service area, a well-structured Search campaign often outperforms it. We’ll tell you when that’s the case rather than defaulting to the newest option.

Protecting spend from invalid clicks. Automated campaigns cast a wider net, which also means wider exposure to bot traffic and competitor click fraud. We monitor for invalid click patterns and apply IP exclusions where needed — see our guide to preventing invalid clicks in PPC campaigns for how this works.

        PPC Management Pricing

$650 one-time setup, then $650 per month for campaign management on daily ad budgets up to $100. Above that, pricing is tailored to your ad spend, campaign types, and number of campaigns — quoted flat, before any work begins.

Ad spend is separate and paid directly to Google. We don’t mark it up, and we don’t take a percentage of it — an arrangement that quietly rewards agencies for spending more of your money rather than spending it well.

        What the Setup Fee Covers

Most agencies start running ads before conversion tracking is properly configured, which means the first weeks of data are unreliable and the campaign optimizes toward the wrong signals. We build the measurement layer first.

Call tracking configuration. Conversion tracking for mobile click-to-call button actions, direct phone number clicks, and a Google forwarding number to capture desktop callers — so phone leads are attributed to the campaigns that produced them instead of disappearing.

Form submission tracking. Conversion goals configured for every quote and contact form across your site, so form leads are measured accurately rather than estimated.

Conversion path review. We audit how visitors are being funneled toward contacting you, and recommend changes where a path is leaking. Sometimes that means removing a low-converting option rather than tracking it — a plain email link, for instance, usually converts worse than a quote form or a phone call, and removing it concentrates traffic where it performs.

Landing page adjustments. Minor changes to your homepage or landing page to support the campaign — message match with your ads, clearer calls to action, and form placement.

Setup is one-time. Once tracking is in place, it keeps working whether or not you continue with us.
